FAQ

Why are certain sizes available for some images, but not others?

Each piece of artwork has unique aspects including composition and resolution which determine which print size will suit it best.  For some images the original size ratio must be maintained to avoid detracting from the artwork, while other images are more flexible and allow for a variety of size and cropping options that are flattering to the artwork.

What is the difference between Ultra Premium Luster and Enhanced Matte photo prints?

While both paper types are excellent giclee-quality choices, their texture and finish set them apart.  Ultra Premium Luster photo paper is slightly glossy, and produces rich, vibrant, sharp colors with maximum color saturation.  It is 10 mil thick and fingerprint resistant.  Enhanced Matte photo paper is thick and durable for museum-quality prints that yield brilliant color with a softer feel.  The archival acid-free paper is 10.3 mil thick.

Each image is available in the paper type that best suits the artwork.

An image I like is available as a print.  Can I order it on stretched canvas, or already professionaly framed instead?

Yes!  While most artwork on this website is available as prints, giving you the option to frame it yourself in a way that best suits your taste and decor and save on shipping, more options are available.  If you'd like to request a piece of artwork you see here in another production style that is not currently available on the website, please contact Jessica St. Clair Studio, LLC for a custom request.

How does artwork ship?

Art prints ship rolled.  You may need to roll in the opposite direction to remove the curl.  Framed artwork ships fully assembled, and ready to hang.  Instead of glass, framed artwork uses a crystal clear acrylite front protector that ships well.

Why is the color of my print slightly different than the color on the screen?

Slight variations can be expected from one screen to another, and from screen to print due to different processes of creating colors and applying color to different materials.  Images are designed and produced in a way that should yield results as true to the original artwork as possible.
